Here’s Jawny!
Ordinarily, I wouldn’t do a cartoon on this kind of subject, especially when there are far more important things going on in the world. But, I don’t really feel like I have anything valuable to say about the Hatian earthquake, nor do I have a clever or interesting way of presenting the topic at this time.
The above image, however, I found way too hilarious to pass up, and another thing about this topic which makes it easier to address is that it’s an entirely man-made conflict with pretty obvious villains. I’ve enjoyed Conan O’Brien’s late night show since at least the late ’90s–probably my favorite segment involved a bunch of statues he and his prop crew developed of Jesus participating in various “sports,” such as “Jesus & Blackjack,” “Sumo Wrestling Jesus,” “Jesus Stealing from Derek Jeter’s Locker,” and “Cockfighting Jesus.” Leno, meanwhile, has been the Garfield of stage comedy for as long as I can remember, and his behavior in this Tonight Show mess has been weasel-like, at best.

Garfield of stage comedy. How apt. You just described Leno’s brand of comedy in four words. Congratulations.
Nothing to say about Haiti? What about the US occupying air strips and sending in troops instead of giving aid… which has the effect of preventing any aid from getting in.

Terry, this is hilarious and genius. So creative!
During the last season of the Biggest Loser, they struck some sort of deal with the Jay Leno show (because the two run back-to-back) in which the contestant who got eliminated each week would appear on that same night’s episode of Leno, so, you know, you could just keep the TV on if you cared enough about Biggest Loser to want to see that contestant interviewed about half an hour later. Which I did, but I can only describe Leno’s monologue and various antics before he finally brought the Biggest Loser guest out as something I *endured* to get to see the interview. It’s painful.
Why is Conan blond?
So Jay Leno is the shark The Tonight Show jumped?
