fantastique! kudos

I gotta say. This is pretty satisfying for me to see. Good work.

Hmm is that the top 1% labeled rich? Didn’t the “rich” pay more in taxes than the bottom 95% combined? IRS info says so.

Oh those poor poor rich people.

Hmm is that the top 1% who made more than the bottom 50% combined? IRS info say so.

You are right Calid it is almost as though if you make obscenely more money your total dollar burden increases. Thank you detective but I think your services could be more useful solving crime elsewhere! I like this comic but nothing tops Trickle Down Economics

say, doesn’t the IRS observe that the top 1% have absorbed MORE THAN 100% of the growth in the US economy over the past decade? yeah, the field is tilted against the poor uber-wealthy so badly that they are the only people getting farther ahead.

no real economist anywhere, ever, has represented income tax as being substantially all of the “taxes” paid by the citizenry. payroll taxes are very large and highly regressive. the working class pay a larger share of their income than the trust-fund class.
