I’d intended to have a new cartoon up today, but a power outage knocked my scanner out of commission. This has happened before–any disruption of the scanner’s power supply causes whatever captures the image to stop functioning for a seemingly random amount of time, so while it’ll still move up and down the flatbed, it returns a blank image in all my scan software.
I have a big, multi-page cartoon on the way which I finished drawing this evening, but I’m away from my scanner, and as a result unable to digitize it. I should have it online in a day or two-hopefully before the Tuesday primary in Florida–until then, here’s a hint on the topic and theme.
Obviously, there’s a lot going on in the news right now that’s worthy of commentary. I had a few ideas following responses to the State of the Union, but haven’t gone ahead with them both because I’m dealing with an issue of uncertainty concerning my housing, and because I feel the news coming out of Egypt at the moment is more important…
