Well, if your reason for thinking President Obama should have declined it is that the prize has previously been awarded to the likes of Yassar Arafat and Henry Kissinger, I would agree, but I suspect that’s not your reason. Otherwise, it would have been kind of a slap in the face to the Nobel committee, and he is donating the monetary award to charity.
