All Aboard the Waterboard
This cartoon, which was actually suggested to me by somebody else, didn’t really turn out the way I hoped it would. It took an extremely long time to draw, and while it was good illustration exercise, I don’t feel like I did the concept justice, and all the time I spent on it probably could have been better spent on several other cartoons instead.
If you don’t know who John Yoo is, here’s a Wikipedia article.

I respectfully disagree–I think this is a well-executed comic. Perfectly captures the insanity around the effectiveness of torture. Also, is he waterboarding…the mailbox? I feel a little guilty giggling at that.
On the contrary, I think you nailed this one.
“Unless!” *stifles laugh* Awse.
The only way to top this would have been to have him waterboard himself at the end instead of the mailbox.
I have this on my office door at work. I really like it. 🙂
This is not how US uses waterboarding at all.
Aw man, the cat is the best part.
